Seth Morabito
Hi, my name is Seth and I'm a metal fabricator and recovering software engineer living in the Pacific Northwest near Seattle, Washington.
I run a small company called Procyon Fabrication, LLC, offering custom CNC plasma cutting, metal art, and fabrication services.
Prior to that, I wrote software for over thirty years. I got my start building webpages at Cornell University, and went on to work at places like Silicon Graphics, Stanford University, Akamai, Cisco, and Walt Disney.
I still sometimes contribute to open source projects, and I've written and maintain a number of projects of my own. I specialize in systems programming and writing emulators for extinct computers.
In my spare time, I dabble in studying foreign languages, using and restoring manual typewriters, and doing calligraphy. I studied hand bookbinding at the the North Bennet Street School in Boston and have a small home bindery.
